Position Description
CHX EHS Engineer provides EHS support to CHX site operations including site compliance, employee safety and loss prevention.  Working with site managers, EHS programs are developed and implemented to ensure EHS regulation compliance and improve performance. 
 
Primary Responsibilities ·       
Develop and implement EHS program and procedures according to national & local regulations, company policy and ISO14001 and OHSMS18001 system;
· Act as management representative of EHS management system to maintain the ISO14001 certification and OHSMS 18001 certification;
· Develop and implement safety programs in Xiamen site to strive for zero incidents, including but not limited to job hazard analysis, hearing conservation program, special equipment management, special operation, fork truck safety, chemical hazards communication, LO/TO, loss prevention, occupational disease prevention, etc;
· Ensure occupational medical surveillance plan are in place for employees and maintain the medical check reports;
· Act as company representative to liaison with government agency to deal with requested topics;
· Conduct EHS audit and inspection with site managers regularly and follow up corrective actions;
· Lead the incident root cause analysis and establish the corrective actions and follow up;
·Provide EHS training to employees;
· Responsible for the radiation safety program implementation in Xiamen site;
· Responsible for the EHS clearance and evaluation for new projects
